Airport Adversities
That icon is staring me in the face the entire time. It is taunting me. Not that I don’t notice the effects of it: webpages take minutes (minutes!) to load, downloading podcasts takes hours (hours!). And it isn’t like my ISP is slow. No, we’ve got a 20 mbps connection.
It’s the damn neighbors with their poorly configured wireless networks. With their linksysses plugged in without any configuration (other than changing the default login so I can’t mess with them :argh: ).
It’s about the time the idea of hi-speed municipal wireless networks caught traction here in the Netherlands. No more idiotic people who just buy by the brand and plug it in without any consideration for other people.
That or I buy the new Apple Airport Extreme and blast them out of the sky!
